So the food journal thing isn’t really happening. However this does not mean that I have been slacking on the healthy eating! Far from it. I have stayed the course and only had a couple of lapses over the weekend. But so far so good.
However the food journal is going away, for now.
I just realized that Ad Busters magazine is to blame for all my deep self-reflection and questioning of my goals and what-not.
about a month ago we were at the local indy bookstor and I started flipping through and reading some of the articles in the latest Ad Busters.
Imediately afterward I began to question everyhthing that I hold dear, my goals, my life plan, the things I enjoy and all of that (see Ramblin’s December 22nd blog entry). The questions I raised in my previous blog may have seemed rhetorical in nature but they have been in the back of my mind ever since. They have really fucked my shit up soo much I can’t believe it!
Now, I realize that its all because of that Ad Busters! Fuck them! Yeah things my be somewhat bad in our country with regards to consumerism and government terrorism but jesus christ! Where does it all end? Just because I am doing what make me happy and support the causes I support that don’t neccessarily fall under things that Ad Busters supports doesn’t mean I am a shitty person. If you don’t have the freedom to be and do the things you love then you aren’t really free. Sure more people can be and should be selfless but GOD DAMMIT leave us alone about the things that we do!
If you haven’t checked out this publication, DON’T! Unless you go into it fully aware and understand that it is an EXTREMELY negative magazine with a pretty obvious agenda!
So I say again, Fuck you Ad Busters!
So I got up at about 6:50 am this morning and did some light jogging to get my heart rate up to the low end of my target, 120 – 140 beats per minute
7:00 am – a serving of trail mix grape nuts cereal and soy milk a glass of Oj and multi-vitamin.
10:30 – an orange
11:45 am – tuna fish and wheat crackers and a cheese stick.
2:30 pm – popcorn
5:30 pm – quesadillas – cheddar cheese, black beans, corn, tomatoes, and salsa
9 pm – a rootbeer float with vanilla yogurt
So, Sunday. Woke up around noon from being drunk last night
1 ish – two scrambled eggs and an english muffin with peanut butter and a glass of oj. A glass of water and my multi-vitamin and a glass of Emergen-C
3 ish – banana, vanilla yogurt and Oj smoothie and a slice of leftover pizza.
6 ish – more water and something I can’t remember
7 ish – a guniess and a roasted garlic and chicken pizza
7:30 ish – a box of Milk Duds
10 ish – a Mich. Amber beer
So not the best day of eating well so far.
10am – scambled eggs with a whole wheat english muffin and a glass of oj.
1 pm – a banana.
2:15 pm – 2 slices of pepperoni pizza, a couple bites of a turkey sandwhich and chips and a cup of coffee.
5 – 6pm ish – either veggies with pasta sauce and parmesan cheese or Nachos with cheddar cheese, black beans, corn, and salsa.
7 – 9 ish – a bottle of wine and 2 beers
Man! Cleaning your ears with q-tips feels ooh-soo good!
